Mark Hearsh, Attorney at Law
Mark has been a licensed Attorney in the State of Illinois for over 25 years with extensive experience in loss mitigation and negotiation. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 from Northwestern University and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1981 from Southwestern University School of Law. He started his career with the law firm, Foonberg, Jampol & Gardner negotiating contracts for commercial real estate transactions. Thereafter, he served as an Executive and General Counsel for several corporations. Mark is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and serves on the Asset Protection, Bankruptcy and Consumer Protection Law committees. He has extensive experience dealing with Banks and Lending Institutions. He has the experience, skills and dedication to negotiate on your behalf to achieve the best results for you and your family. Mark operates his firm, Hearsh & Asscociates, Ltd, a Professional Law Corporation d/b/a The Castle Law Group.
Renae Simpson, Director of Loss Mitigation
Renae has been in the mortgage industry for 25 years. In the 1980’s S &L crisis, she managed REO divisions for large institutions and managed the loss mitigation department for Bell Savings & Loan. In the next 20 year span, Renae held Sr. Management positions within Wells Fargo, CitiBank and Countrywide.
Most recently, Renae has been the SVP of a loss mitigation company and successfully negotiated loan modifications for over 200 clients and saved over 100 homes from imminent foreclosure. She has established seasoned relationships with the Home Retention Managers for 10 of the largest loan servicing firms.
Phyllis Klein, Director of Operations
Phyllis has over 25 years experience as an Executive in the Banking and Mortgage Industry. She has held prominent positions with companies such as: Countrywide Home Lending, Lehman Brothers, H & R Block, First Bank and TRW.
Phyllis has developed many companies’ underwriting guidelines and has managed and trained over 100 operations and sales support staff in structuring and securing mortgages. Along with this vast experience, she worked for several years in the secondary market and has managed over $100 million in home lending notes.
Phyllis has first-hand knowledge of what lenders and servicers are allowing in terms of loan modifications and provides insight for our team that aids us in negotiating the best terms possible regarding loan modifications for our clients.
